Support for your practice

Supervision, peer supervision groups and an open library of instruments — what a practitioner needs for their practice to develop rather than go round in circles.

Why this is not optional

Psychotherapy is one of the few professions where a mistake is not visible straight away. A client does not always say that things have got worse, and a practitioner tends to consider their own understanding of the case correct. The only reliable way to check this is to bring your work up for discussion.

That is why supervision is not a sign of inexperience and not something you stop needing over the years. It is part of the professional standard, on a par with the code of ethics.

What we offer

  • Supervision — working through specific cases with a supervisor, individually or in a small group.
  • Peer supervision groups — regular meetings of colleagues at a similar level to review their own work.
  • Library of instruments — scales and questionnaires used in CBT practice, freely available.
