Consent to the processing of personal data

The text of the consent you give when submitting a form on the site, and how enquiries are handled.

By submitting a form on cbtpoland.com you confirm your consent to the processing of the personal data given in it by CBT Poland Center (Warsaw) for the purpose of:

  • replying to your enquiry;
  • advising you on training programmes, supervision and psychological help;
  • matching you with a specialist and a format of work;
  • keeping an internal record of enquiries.

The scope of the data is limited to the fields of the particular form. A detailed list is given in the privacy policy.

The “briefly about your concern” field in the psychologist booking form is optional. If you use it to describe your condition, your wellbeing or circumstances that call for help, that information belongs to a special category of data within the meaning of art. 9 RODO.

It is processed only where you have given separate explicit consent — the checkbox next to the field — and solely in order to match you with a specialist. Such information:

  • is not passed to messengers;
  • is available only to the centre’s coordinator and to the specialist the request is sent to;
  • is deleted along with the enquiry within the periods stated in the privacy policy;
  • is not used for any other purpose.

You can send a request leaving this field empty. Everything necessary is discussed at the first session, where professional confidentiality applies.

Subscribing to the newsletter is a separate step and requires confirmation via a link in an email — that is how we make sure the address belongs to you. Every email contains an unsubscribe link; once you unsubscribe, the address is deleted.

The newsletter contains announcements about enrolment for programmes, new materials and events at the centre. We do not pass addresses to third parties.

Write to info@cbtpoland.com — a short message with no explanation is enough. We will delete the data and confirm this in reply. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Confidentiality in the specialist’s work

Everything you tell a specialist during a consultation is protected by professional confidentiality and is not part of the site’s data. The cases in which a specialist is obliged to disclose information are limited by law and by a direct threat to life; the specialist discusses these boundaries with you at the first session.

Clinical cases discussed in supervision are anonymised: the supervisor receives no data that could identify the client.
