The concerns we work with
This list is not exhaustive and is not a list of diagnoses. These are the areas where the cognitive behavioural approach has shown effectiveness in research and where our specialists have practice.
If you have not found your concern here, that does not mean we cannot help. Describe the situation in a request and the coordinator will tell you how we can be useful.
Anxiety, panic attacks, phobias
Constant worry, panic attacks, fear of situations you were not afraid of before.
Depression and loss of energy
Nothing brings joy, there is no energy, everything takes effort, and the meaning of what is happening slips away.
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
Intrusive thoughts you cannot get rid of, and actions you have to repeat.
Trauma and PTSD
Memories that come back on their own, nightmares, constant alertness.
Eating disorders
A relationship with food and the body that is taking up more and more space in life.
Addictive behaviour
Alcohol, substances, gambling, screens — when control over them has been lost.
Difficulties in relationships
Repeating conflicts, estrangement, the sense that you are speaking different languages.
Moving, emigration, adaptation
A new country, the loss of your supports, the sense that life is going on somewhere other than where you are.
